Geppetto & the Whales – Jonathan

[jwplatform ehwGs5nQ-Pqiywodl]

Geppetto & The Whales latest video for their song “Jonathan” is proof enough that you don’t need anything more than a couple food items, two jolly men, and a dining room to make for an interesting music video. The video begins with one man presenting what seems to be a spaghetti “birthday cake” to the other, and once he blows out the candles, the real fun begins.
From there, the video seems to slip between two alternate realities: one where two friends share a lovely evening eating (a lot) of spaghetti, and one in which they engage in an extremely fun food fight (or full blown war). The men comically attack each other with bazooka baguettes and explosive sodas, and smear condiments on each other’s faces. The video’s climax is very much in synch with the song’s, and it’s revealed that the alternate reality wasn’t actually so alternate after all. Check out this very fun video to see what happens!
