To combat the “cheap, mass-produced frenzy” of Black Friday, the organizers of Record Store Day released some limited edition goodies in record stores across the country today. If you were too busy wrestling over a blender at 5am and forgot to pile up the vinyl this morning, don’t worry. Many of these special stocking stuffers will be staying on the shelves for a little while longer.

Tons of exclusive vinyl records hit the shelves today, from artists like the Beatles, David Bowie, Miles Davis, The Doors, Dave Matthews Band, the Decemberists, the Flaming Lips, Green Day, Hozier, Judas Priest, Outkast, the Ramones, Run-D.M.C., Ed Sheeran, Bessie Smith, St. Vincent, the Velvet Underground, and many more. You can also hunt through many limited run vinyl records, including a special best-of collection from Peter Murphy, as well as some ‘RSD First’ releases, from legends like Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, and the Kinks.

If you like colored vinyl, then it’s your lucky day. Collectors will be racing to buy exclusive color LPs from artists like Aaliyah, Bleachers, Chvrches, and They Might Be Giants. Other multicolored highlights include The Big Lebowski soundtrack (12”), the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack (12”), Rockabye Baby!’s Lullabye Renditions of Jay-Z (12”), and an ‘RSD First’ release of the American Hustle soundtrack (2 x 12”).

You can also get your hands on almost a dozen exclusive picture discs, such as Bon Jovi’s Live 2 (10”), Wu-Tang Clan’s C.R.E.A.M (10”), and the Frozen soundtrack (7”). There are also some limited run picture discs, including Five Finger Death Punch’s Purgatory (12”) and Korn’s The Paradigm Shift (12”), and the ‘RSD First’ editions of Echosmith’s Cool Kids (12”) and Imagine Dragons’ Night Visions (12”).

In your letter to Santa, don’t forget to mention all of the exclusive vinyl box sets, DVDs, and ‘RSD First’ CDs, not to mention a real-life version of the Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1 cassette. You can also throw in a special edition book from Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and several Neil Young tee shirts, if that’s your thing.

As the folks at RSD proclaim, “We will call it a victory if less cheap toasters and socks are given as gifts and more awesome music by some of the greatest artists of our time exchange hands.” To see the full list and find a participating store, you can visit their website here.
