Ariana Grande has released the music video for “One Last Time,” her fourth single off the 2014 album, My Everything. Last night, following an energetic performance alongside backup dancers and Nicki Minaj at the NBA All-Star Game, Grande counted down until the midnight release on her Twitter. Inspired by films in the horror genre, the Max Landis-directed video was shot with a handheld camera and features Grande and a lover traveling through an apocalyptic world. As explosions rain down from the sky, Ariana races through a city exploring the wreckage and destruction around her. Her boyfriend, played by Grande’s Victorious co-star Matt Bennett, follows the musician recording her and their surroundings.

Last summer Ariana kicked off the My Everything era with the release of her Iggy Azalea-assisted “Problem,” which peaked at Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was one of several high profile female-female collaborations released in 2014, and Grande was involved in another when she was recruited to join Jessie J and Nicki Minaj on “Bang Bang.” Fueled by the success of “Problem,” My Everything debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 having moved 169,000 units. This earned Grande her second consecutive Number 1 debut (the first being her 2013, Yours Truly). Grande followed up the successes of “Problem” and “Bang Bang” with her Zedd and Max Martin-assisted “Break Free” and her collaboration with The Weeknd on “Love Me Harder.” My Everything earned Grande a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, and she received another nomination in the Best Duo/Group Performance for “Bang Bang.”

Ariana Grande has performed “One Last Time” at the 2015 Grammy Awards and last night at the NBA All-Star Game. The single was officially released to radio on February 10, 2015. She will also undoubtedly perform it onstage during The Honeymoon Tour, which opens on February 25th in Independence, Missouri. Grande will be joined onstage by English boy band, Rixton, and Cashmere Cat, and the tour will have the musicians traveling across North America and Europe. So far, “One Last Time” has peaked at Number 11 on the Bubbling Under Billboard Hot 100, but with the Music Video and upcoming performances, the track can only pick up. Not a bad start for Grande.
