Run The Jewels and Massive Attack were recently in the recording studio together. The Run The Jewels duo, consisting of Killer Mike and El-P, both announced the studio collaboration on social media. The duo did not reveal what they were working on, but we do know that Run The Jewels is expected to release a project this year. Massive Attack is continuing to make their rounds through the music industry, and it seems they may work on a project with former Oasis member, Noel Gallagher.

Gallagher is releasing a solo project entitled Chasing Yesterday on March 2nd, and Massive Attack may produce a remix version of the EP. “Andy Weatherall has done one remix already. A guy who used to be in the Psychonauts who goes under the name of Toy Drum, he’s done one,” Gallagher told Q magazine (via The Guardian). He added, “Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve have done something and I’m speaking to Massive Attack. There are a few things going on. There might be a remix EP coming out sooner or later. It’s all up in the air at the moment.”

On March 3rd, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will embark on their tour, which will begin in the United Kingdom. They will also travel to Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Japan. In May, the band will begin the US leg of their tour, which will start in Canada on May 3rd. Some of the cities Gallagher will travel to include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, and Las Vegas. The last night of the tour will stop in New York for the Governors Ball Music Festival on June 7th. During an interview with Q magazine, Gallagher revealed he was not opposed to reuniting with his brother and former Oasis bandmates, although the rocker said his only motivation would be a large amount of money.

Oasis split six years ago, after the constant fighting between Noel, and his brother Liam, finally reached its limit. The brothers supposedly got into a physical altercation backstage after one of their shows, and Noel quit the band. An Oasis reunion may never happen, but Oasis’ fans were probably happy to find out that the two brothers did sit in the same together a few months ago. Prior to their “sit down,” it was reported that Noel and Liam had not spoken since 2009. Fans will just have to keep their fingers crossed in regards to an Oasis reunion.

FDRMX Eyes: The Jepettos have teamed up with Cup O’Joe in their latest music video, “Moving Underground.” The music video is comprised of clips from the documentary entitled North of the Sun.
