Lenny Kravitz was scheduled to travel to Asia in March, and Australia in April. Due to scheduling conflicts, the rocker canceled dates in Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sydney, and Melbourne. “Unfortunately, due to contractual scheduling conflicts beyond my control I will not be able to come to Australia to perform,” the rocker posted on his Facebook page. Kravitz added, “I have been looking forward to coming to play for my fans and I’m deeply sorry that my concerts had to be canceled.” Kravitz was booked for a performance at Australia’s Bluesfest Byron Bay on April 2nd.

The Bluesfest festival director, Peter Noble, said they are saddened by the news of Kravitz’s cancellation. He also acknowledged that the rocker’s fans must be disappointed as well. The festival dates are from April 2nd through the 6th, and the promoters will offer refunds to those who purchased tickets on the day of Kravitz’s performance. Noble also stated that the Bluesfest is currently trying to find a replacement for Kravitz. The other artists scheduled to perform at the Bluesfest Byron Bay include The Black Keys, Hozier, Beth Hart, Frank Yamma, Ben Howard, Zac Brown Band, David Gray, Paolo Nutini, and more.
