It’s been a tough few months for Iggy Azalea, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. During a live broadcast on ESPN‘s SportsCenter yesterday, anchor Robert Flores decided to take a shot at the female rapper’s career. “Lakers’ Nick Young noted a dolphin tried to kill him. So Nick, while a dolphin’s trying to kill you, your girlfriend’s trying to kill hip-hop,” Flores stated. The reason why Flores went after Azalea is unknown, but the “dolphin” reference does have a logical backstory.

A while ago, the rapper revealed on social media that Nick Young is terrified of dolphins. Young would later explain that his fear of dolphins stems from being attacked by a dolphin when he was on vacation in Mexico. While Young may have a fear of dolphins, he definitely doesn’t fear ESPN’s Flores. After Flores’ comments aired, the NBA player sent the anchor several tweets. “I’m pretty sure we going to run into each other soon,” Young messaged Flores. He also told the anchor that his job is to talk about sports, and he shouldn’t have said anything that involved him and Azalea. “Since these Sports Channels want to [act] like they BET we shall see,” the NBA player tweeted.

Azalea did not respond to any of the recent controversy, and her Twitter hiatus is still in effect. The rapper decided to take a break from Twitter last month, in order to get peace of mind. “I just want to have peace and relaxation time without a perve with a long distance lense hiding out taking pictures, everyone deserves peace,” the rapper tweeted. Her management is supposed to run her social media page until Azalea returns. The rapper’s social media break is the result of a violation of Azalea’s privacy.

While on vacation, a photographer took a few unflattering pictures of the rapper. The pictures circulated online, and she did not know the pictures were taken, until she returned home from vacation. “The Internet is the ugliest reflection of man kind there is,” Azalea wrote on social media. Azalea and Jennifer Hudson just dropped the music video for their song “Trouble” a few days ago. The music video was filmed during Grammy weekend in downtown Los Angeles.
