The Zac Brown Band has two entries on the Billboard charts this week. The band’s “Homegrown” is Number 9 on the Country Airplay chart, which just became their fourteenth Top 10 hit. “Homegrown” is the lead single from the Jekyll + Hyde, which will be released on April 28th. The country band’s other single, “Heavy Is the Head,” featuring Chris Connell, made its debut at Number 37 on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart. This is the first time the Zac Brown Band has ever had a song enter the rock charts.

The rock charting of “Heavy Is the Head” may not be too shocking to people, considering the rock-influenced record features Chris Connell of Soundgarden and Audioslave. Several rock stations starting playing the record because it sounds like a rock song, and the fact the Zac Brown Band is a country group is irreverent. Some radio stations are playing the song several times a day, and those song plays helped earn “Heavy Is the Head” its place on the rock charts.

The Zac Brown Band’s overseas tour will conclude on April 3rd in Australia. The band just announced they will launch their North America tour on May 1st in Nashville, Tennessee. The tour will also make stops in Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, New York, and several other states in North America. Their tour will wrap at the Kaaboo Del Mar Festival in California in September. Zac Brown also have performances at three more music festivals including the Hangout Festival, the Milwaukee Summerfest, and the Florida Country Superfest.

The Zac Brown Band will be the musical guests on Saturday Night Live this weekend. The band revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that they will perform new tracks from their Jekyll + Hyde project.

The Zac Brown Band has released three studio albums, The Foundation, You Get What You Give, and Uncaged. Uncaged won a Grammy Award for Best Country Album, and it produced four singles “The Wind,” “Goodbye In Her Eyes,” “Jump Right In,” and “Sweet Annie.” All of Zac Brown Band’s albums have sold over a million copies each, and they are hoping Jekyll + Hyde will be just as successful.
