The Glee series finale will air on March 20th, which will be a two-hour long episode. The final show is entitled “2009,” which is the year Glee first aired on the Fox network. During the finale, Glee will pay tribute to Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson), who died in 2013. After Monteith’s death, Ryan Murphy (Glee’s creator) said he always envisioned the series would end with a story relating to the Finn Hudson character. It seems fitting that Glee will pay homage to Cory Monteith and the role he played on television, Finn Hudson. “The final year of the show was designed around Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn’s story. I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was, he was on it. I knew what the last line was, she said it to him,” Murphy stated. He added,”So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we’re figuring that out now.”

According to reports, Glee will feature Monteith in a series of flashbacks. Lea Michele‘s character will perform her last song, “This Time,” which was written by Darren Criss. While filming the last scene, Michele was reportedly overcome with emotions, and she fell to the floor and cried. Last month, Michele recounted her last days on the set of Glee on social media. The singer-actress posted photos of her last day of filming, including a picture of Jonathan Groff. The last time Groff (Jesse St. James) appeared on Glee was on the third season, but it has been confirmed that he will be on the series finale. While on social media, Michele also thanked the faithful Glee fans, also known as Gleeks.

Glee has proven to be one of the most successful television series in the last ten years. The show has been nominated for nineteen Emmy Awards and four Golden Globes. In 2010, Glee won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy). Glee has also been very successful in the music industry. The songs covered on Glee have been released on iTunes, and the television series has even released several albums. The singles released from Glee have sold over thirty million digital downloads, and the Glee albums have accumulated over ten million copies sold.

FDRMX Eyes: Michael Resin is a French electronic/pop artist based in Switzerland. Resin has released his latest music video for “Point of No Return.” The track will available for download on March 17th.
