Celine Dion is returning to her Las Vegas residency in August. The singer has been on hiatus since taking a break to care for her husband, Rene Angelil, who has cancer. Dion said she will return to Caesars Palace’s Colosseum with a new show, which she referred to as an exciting yet emotional return. “It’s very emotional for me, and I’m anticipating the emotions to grow even more as the date gets closer,” the singer told People magazine. Celine Dion reportedly earns $476,000 per show for her Las Vegas residency. Celine Dion has one of the biggest residency deals in music history. Pop star Britney Spears is the other top earner in Las Vegas. Spears new Las Vegas residency deal is reportedly worth $475,000 per show.
