A$AP Rocky recently performed at South By Southwest (SXSW), where he revealed the name of his new album will be entitled A.L.L.A. The upcoming album will more than likely drop unexpectedly, and it will be executive produced by the late A$AP Yams, Dangermouse, and Juicy J. The rapper said his highly-anticipated sophomore album will be completely different than his Long.Live.A$APdebut project. A.L.L.A.’s album features from Lykke Li and FKA Twigs are a strong indication this project won’t be as commercial as Long.Live.A$AP.

Rocky told MTV News that he actually hates his mainstream hits “Wild For The Night” and “F***in’ Problems.” “On the [first] album I wanted to prove to the people I could have mainstream commercial success, so that’s why I made songs like Wild For The Night and F**in’ Problems. I hate those songs,” Rocky told MTV News. The rapper’s “hate” for “Wild For Night” stems from the fact that the song is not a true reflection of who he is on a day-to-day basis.

Rocky said he and Skrillex recorded the song when they were drunk, and although it was fun to record, sometimes he’s not in the mood to perform the party song. A$AP Rocky revealed that he and A$AP Yams worked really hard on his sophomore album, and they wanted to make sure it represented who he truly is as an artist. “What he [A$AP Yams] wanted was for me to express myself in the best manner,” the rapper told MTV News

A$AP Rocky is still trying to cope with the death of A$AP Yams, who died in January from an accidental drug overdose. “I just lost my brother. F*** all this music shit. When it comes down to it, I would trade this music [career] for Yams. In reality, Yams is the only person that’s actually been through this sh*t with me and knows how I feel,” Rocky stated to MTV News.

FDRMX Eyes: Larz Randa is a young hip-hop artist from Auckland, New Zealand. The rapper has released a music video for the track, “Rangers.”
