Jazmine Sullivan is adding more dates to her Reality Show Tour. The first leg of her tour began earlier this month, and it will conclude on March 29th. Several dates have already sold out, including her shows in Chicago, New York, Maryland, and Philadelphia. The second leg of the tour will launch on April 2nd in Houston, Texas at the House of Blues. The R&B singer and her opening act, Jordan Bratton, will remain in Texas the following day and perform at the House of Blues in Houston.
The remaining dates on the Reality Show Tour are as follows: San Antonio (TX) at Aztec Theatre on April 4th; Atlanta (GA) at Tabernacle on April 7th; Birmingham (AL) at Iron City on April 8th; Nashville (TN) at Marathon Music Works on April 10th; Memphis (TN) at Minglewood Hall on April 11th; Orlando (FL) at House of Blues on April 13th; Miami (FL) at The Fillmore on April 14th; Montclair (NJ) at Wellmont Theatre on April 17th; New York (NY) at Irving Plaza on April 18th; Boston (MA) at Royale Night Club on April 20th; Toronto (ON) at Phoenix on April 22nd; Detroit (MI) at St. Andrews on April 23rd; Cincinnati (OH) at Bogart’s on April 25th; Philadelphia (PA) at Theatre of Living Arts on April 26th; Raleigh (NC) at The Ritz on April 29th. The tour will end in Silver Spring (MD) at The Fillmore on April 30th.
Jazmine Sullivan’s Reality Show album debuted at the top of the R&B Albums chart. The project sold 29,000 copies in its debut week, and it entered the Billboard 200 chart at Number 12. The R&B singer said Reality Show is her most personal album to date. Sullivan’s new single “Let It Burn” entered the Adult R&B chart at Number 29.
Sullivan released her first studio album, Fearless, in 2008. Six songs were dropped from the album including “Need U Bad,” “Bust Your Windows,” and “Lions, Tigers, & Bears.” Fearless was led by the hit single “Need U Bad,” which was produced by Missy Elliott. The song went to Number 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The Gold-certified album also featured Sullivan’s most successful song so far, “Bust Your Windows.” The record peaked at Number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
