Destiny’s Child Reunite For Surprise Performance

Destiny’s Child surprised the audience at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Las Vegas (NV) last night. Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams was scheduled to perform her song “Say Yes,” but to everyone’s surprise, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland joined Williams onstage. “Say Yes” is featured on Michelle Williams solo album Journey to Freedom (released last year). The last time the platinum-selling trio performed together was two years ago during Beyonce’s legendary Super Bowl halftime show performance. The 2015 Stellar Gospel Music Awards will broadcast on TV One on April 5th.

Destiny’s Child has sold over 60 million records worldwide, becoming one of the most successful female groups of all time. Their studio albums include Destiny’s Child, The Writings on the Wall, Survivor, 8 Days of Christmas, and Destiny Fulfilled. Their biggest hits include “Survivor,” “Independent Women,” “Bootylicious,” “Say My Name,” “Bills Bills Bills,” “Soldier” (featuring Lil Wayne and T.I.), and “Lose My Breath.”

The trio have all embarked on solo music careers. Michelle Williams has released four studio albums including Heart to Yours, Do You Know, Unexpected, and Journey to Freedom. Her most successful solo hits include “We Break the Dawn,” “The Greatest,” “If We Had Your Eyes,” and “Say Yes.” “The Greatest” reached Number 1 on the US Dance charts.

Kelly Rowland’s solo career includes the release of four albums, which include Simply Deep, Ms. Kelly, Here I Am, and Talk a Good Game. Rowland has respectively sold over 27 million albums worldwide. Some of her biggest hits include “Dilemma” (with Nelly), “Stole,” “Like This” (featuring Eve), “Work,” and “Motivation.” Rowland was also featured on David Guetta’s “When Love Takes Over,” which reached Number 1 on the US Dance charts.

Beyonce has become of the biggest stars in the music industry. She has sold over 75 million records as a solo artist, and Beyonce has won 20 Grammy Awards. Her latest self-titled album was dropped in 2013, and it has sold over five million copies. Beyonce’s other projects include Dangerously In Love, B’Day, I Am…Sasha Fierce, and 4. Dangerously In Love has been certified Diamond, after selling over ten million copies worldwide. Beyonce has accumulated countless hits, some of which include “Crazy In Love” (featuring Jay Z), “Diva,” “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” “XO,” “Drunk In Love” (featuring Jay Z), and “Baby Boy” (featuring Sean Paul).

FDRMX Eyes: Inventions is a rock duo comprised of Mark T. Smith and Matthew Cooper. The band has released an animated music video titled “Springworlds,” which can be found on their follow-up, Maze of Woods. “Springworlds” was created by animator Dan W Jacobs.
