Fifth Harmony premiered their new music video “Worth It” (featuring Kid Ink) at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards last night. Along with debuting their new video, the pop group received the award for Favorite New Artist at the awards show ceremony.
“Worth It” featuring Kid Ink is the third single released from the pop group’s debut studio album Reflection, which entered the Billboard 200 Albums chart at Number 5. The other singles dropped from the album include the Gold-certified songs “Boss” and “Sledgehammer.” “Boss” reached Number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it also impacted the charts in Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Scotland. The Meghan Trainor penned “Sledgehammer,” peaked at Number 21 on the US Mainstream Top 40. The hit song is the pop group’s first Top 40 song.
Fifth Harmony (Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane Hansen, Normandi Kordei, and Ally Brooke Hernandez) are signed to Simon Cowell‘s Syco Music and Epic Records. Cowell discovered the girl group on the music competition show, X Factor. Similar to how he discovered One Direction, the group was formed together after Cowell watched each member perform on X Factor.
Fifth Harmony released their first EP entitled Better Together in 2013. The album peaked at Number 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, and Number 2 on the Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums charts. The project’s debut single “Miss Movin’ On” impacted the Billboard Hot 100 at Number 76. The Monsters and the Strangerz were amongst the group of producers for the Better Together EP. The Grammy-winning production team’s extensive resume includes writing and producing for P. Diddy, Rihanna, Kanye West, Maroon 5, Big Sean, Selena Gomez, Wiz Khalifa, and several other mainstream artists.
After being the opening act for Austin Mahone’s tour last year, Fifth Harmony is headlining their own tour this year. Fifth Harmony’sReflection Tour has traveled throughout North America, and it was initially supposed to wrap on March 27th. Due to its success, four more dates have been added to the tour.
On May 8th, Fifth Harmony will travel to Chula Vista (California). The pop group’s remaining dates include stops in Mansfield (Massachusetts) on May 16th, Del Mar (California) on June 23rd, and Hershey (Pennsylvania) on June 28th. The Reflection Tour has also made stops in other cities in California, New York, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Illinois, and Canada. The 25- date tour features Jacob Whitesides, Jasmine V, and Mahogany Lox as the opening acts for the Reflection Tour.
FDRMX Eyes: From Ottawa, Canada comes an alternative rock group called Fiona Noakes Band. The band has released a part-two music video titled “Ghost of the Abyss.”
