Madonna seems to be going to great lengths in order to get her point across regarding to what can, or can’t be, posted on social media. The pop legend rebelled against the rules on social media by posting a nude photo of herself on Instagram. “Why is it ok to show ass but not breasts? Drowning in the hypocrisy of social media,” Madonna captioned on Instagram. Madonna is addressing Instagram’s rules that don’t allow violent, nude, partially nude, pornographic, or sexually suggestive pictures. The social media company recently removed one of the pop singer’s topless photos from her page. Madonna fired back at Instagram with a nude photo of herself, although parts of her breasts were censored.

It was just revealed that Madonna will appear on four special edition covers of Cosmopolitan magazine next month. The four covers were unveiled online yesterday, and each cover was photographed by Ellen von Unwerth (recently shot Azealia Banks’ Playboy shoot). The pop singer is also featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s (Italian) issue this month. The pop singer has covered the magazine several times; dating all the way back to 1986. The other years Madonna covered Vanity Fair (US) were in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1996, 2000 (alongside Rupert Everett), 2002, 2007 (alongside the late Maya Angelou), and 2008.
