John Legend, Bastille, and Nate Ruess will headline the Hear the Music, See the World exclusive concert series, which is sponsored by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. The concerts are a part of Starwood’s Preferred Guest loyalty program, which will showcase performances around the world. Ruess will perform on June 26th in Miami (FL) at Aloft & Element Doral Hotel. The Fun. frontman is releasing a solo project entitled Grand Romantic; scheduled to be released on June 16th.
Bastille’s show will take place at the Westin Palace Madrid (Spain) on October 30th, while Legend will play in California at the Sheraton LA Downtown on November 5th. “There is nothing better than getting up close and personal at small venues with fans who love music as much as I do. I get to perform for these devoted fans in the most beautiful settings at the most incredible hotels in the world,” Legend said in a statement. He added, “Starwood Preferred Guest delivers what matters most to us, bringing music to the people.”
Senior VP of Starwood’s marketing, Mark Vondrasek, spoke about the importance of Starwood Hotel’s music program. “Through Starwood Preferred Guest’s (SPG) music program, we are redefining what loyalty programs can do. We are continuing to cultivate loyalty beyond reason with all of our members by providing them once in a lifetime access to music’s top talent,” Vondrasek stated. He continued, “[We’re giving them] The chance to see amazing performances from the comfort of SPG’s luxury suites in some of the world’s best venues.”
Hilton Worldwide Hospitality has also launched a concert series. Their next [email protected] concert will be headlined by Nick Jonas. The first concert was performed by Paramore, and it took place in New York in March. Jonas will perform in Dallas (TX) on April 22nd. [email protected] will be sponsored by Live Nation as well, and their shows will feature some of music’s biggest artists with concerts being held around the globe. “We created the [email protected] concerts to reward our most loyal guests, [in an effort] to welcome the artists’ most passionate fans. Most importantly, to make sure the experience is undeniably fun,” Jeff Diskin (Executive VP of commercial services for Hilton) stated.
