Charli XCX and Bleachers’ lead singer  are going on tour together this summer. The tour named Charli and Jack Do America will launch on July 21st in San Diego, California. “The two of us do totally different things but occupy a similar space, that’s what I loved about the idea to tour together. It makes sense in the fact that it doesn’t make sense,” Antonoff stated. Charli XCX said she loves how Antonoff makes his music feel like a movie. The pop singer added that she can’t wait to go on tour with Antonoff.

The Charli and Jack Do America tour will travel to Costa Mesa (CA) on July 22nd, Oakland (CA) on July 23rd, Seattle (WA) on July 25th, Troutdale (OR) on July 26th, Salt Lake City (UT) on July 28th, Denver (CO) on July 29th, Minneapolis (MN) on August 4th, Milwaukee (WI) on August 5th, Tulsa (OK) on August 7th, Kansas City (MO) on August 8th, St. Louis (MO) on August 9th, and Detroit (MI) on August 11th. The tour will wrap on August 12th on Columbus (OH). Tickets for the tour will go on sale April 24th. BORNS has been selected as the opening act for the summer tour.

Charli XCX has dropped three studio albums including 14, True Romance, and Sucker. Her latest project, Sucker, was released last year. The album peaked at Number 28 on the Billboard 200 chart, and it impacted the charts in Switzerland, United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, and Australia. “Boom Clap,” “Break the Rules,” and “Doing It” were all dropped as singles. “Boom Clap” reached the top of the US Mainstream Top 40, and she was featured on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” which also peaked at Number 1.

Bleachers have dropped one studio album entitled Strange Desire. The project reached Number 2 on the Top Rock Albums, Number 2 on the Top Alternative Albums chart, and Number 11 on the Billboard 200. Four singles were released from the project including “I Wanna Get Better,” “Shadow,” “Rollercoaster,” and “Like a River Runs.” Two of the singles, “I Wanna Get Better” and “Rollercoaster” peaked at Number 1 on the US Alternative charts.

Charli XCX and Bleachers are currently on their own tours. Charli XCX will be in Singapore today, and she also has nine dates scheduled in Australia for this month and May. The pop singer will perform at the Sweetlife Festival, The Governors Ball, and the Free Press Summer Fest too. Next month, Bleachers will begin their tour across North America. Their tour dates include stops in Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, and more.
