Kanye West Changes Album Title Via Social Media

Kanye West has changed the title of his upcoming album. The rapper revealed on Twitter that his new project will be entitled Swish. In March, West announced on Twitter that his project would be named So Help Me God. Even though the album now bears the name Swish, it doesn’t mean the title won’t get changed again. “I might change it again but that’s the name now,” the rapper wrote on Twitter. West hasn’t revealed if he will change the cover art for his newly titled Swishalbum.

West’s “All Day” single features Paul McCartney, Theophilus London, and Allan Kingdom. The song peaked on the US Hot Rap Songs chart at Number 4, the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at Number 6, and the Billboard Hot 100 at Number 15. “All Day” has impacted the music charts in the UK, New Zealand, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Germany, France, Canada, and Australia. The song is expected to be featured on his Swish project.

Paul McCartney is also featured on the rapper’s “FourFiveSeconds” single, which is also expected to be on his forthcoming album. The platinum certified song also features Rihanna, and it reached the top of the charts in the US, Australia, Denmark, Ireland, Israel, Brazil, New Zealand, Norway, and Sweden. In an interview with The Sun, The Beatles legend stated that working with West reminded him of working with his bandmate John Lennon. “When I wrote with John, he would sit down with a guitar. I would sit down. We would ping-pong till we had a song. Working with Kanye was like that,” McCartney toldThe Sun.

The legend recalled how his late mother came to him in a dream, and told him “don’t worry it’s all going to be fine, just let it be,” and those words inspired him to write “Let It Be.” After McCartney told West his story, it promoted the rapper to write a song for his late mother Donda West. The rapper’s song dedicated to his mother is entitled “Only One,” which also features McCartney. The song was written from the perspective of West’s mother, and it is intended to be a message from his mother, to his child, North West.
