A few hours before American Idol aired last night, Jennifer Lopez revealed on social media that she would be announcing some big news on the show. It turns out that the singer is heading to Las Vegas for her residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The residency will launch on January 20th (2016), and the first twenty show dates have been revealed online. “I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life. The show is going to be multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party,” Lopez said in a statement. She added,”[I’m] mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love…Dance, Hip-Hop, Latin, and Pop. It’s going to be the show I’ve always dreamt of creating.” Tickets for the first twenty Lopez dates will go on sale May 16th at 10am (Pacific standard time), and the dates run from January 20th through June 12th.
