Fans of the reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians received some shocking news last night when Kim Kardashian revealed she is pregnant. The baby news was announced during a mid-season preview of the upcoming second half of the hit reality television series. “I just got the blood test back and I am pregnant,” Kim revealed to her sister Khloe. The new baby will be Kim and Kanye West’s second child; their first child North will be two years old on June 15th. “Kim and Kanye told North the news together, and they explained as best as they could that she was going to have a brother or sister. They made sure to tell her before they announced the news on the reality show,” a source told Hollywood Life. Kanye and Kim just celebrated their one-year anniversary last month, and the rapper didn’t shy away from revealing his love for Kim on social media. “Kim, I’m so happy to be married to the girl of my dreams… I love you and Nori so much!!! I would find you in any lifetime,” West wrote on Twitter.
According to sources, Kim and Kanye told their family and a few friends a couple of weeks ago that Kim is pregnant. The baby news may be the reason why Kanye was “all smiles” at a recent appearance at the Golden Thimble Fashion Show in Los Angeles. The fashion show was orchestrated by the fashion students at Los Angeles Trade Technical College. West came to the event and delivered a speech to the students, and he offered his advice to the recent fashion graduates. “It’s a tough world out there. You gotta prepare yourself for politics, bad bosses, hatin’ [sic] employees. Usually when you’re the absolute best, you get hated on the most,” he boldly claimed. West also talked to the students about being discriminated against because people in the fashion world categorized him as just a rapper. “Even for me as a successful musician, in order to make the transition, it was really all but impossible. People always try to box you in to what they know you best for,” West told the recent graduates.
The rapper is expected release his seventh studio album, currently entitled SWISH, some time this year. The upcoming project’s single “All Day” featuring Paul McCartney, Theophilus London, and Allan Kingdom, was dropped in March. The song reached Number 4 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, Number 6 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Number 15 on Billboard Hot 100. “All Day” was produced by West, P. Diddy, Velous, and French Montana.
