Thousands of lucky attendees were treated to a secret set by Bastille today at Glastonbury. The people who were denied access into the secret gig, weren’t so lucky. The band played a 45-minute set on the William Green stage, and they opened with the song “Things We Lost In the Fire.” Bastille also performed “Flaws,” “Pompeii,” and “Of The Night.” As if performing a secret show wasn’t enough, Bastille even played new music, which set the audience into more of a frenzy.

Following their performance at Glastonbury, the band will resume their tour. Their upcoming dates include July 2nd in Sopron, Hungary; July 3rd in Roeser, Luxembourg; July 16th in Tonsberg, Norway; July 18th in Joensuu, Finland; July 19th in Benicassim, Spain; August 9th in Newquay, United Kingdom; August 21st in Hasselt, Belgium; August 22nd in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands; August 27th in Glattbrugg, Switzerland; August 28th in Reading, United Kingdom; August 29th in Leeds, United Kingdom; and September 12th in Berlin, Germany.

Bastille released their studio album entitled Bad Blood two years ago. The project went to Number 1 in the UK, and it peaked at Number 11 on the Billboard 200. It also peaked at Number 3 on the US Top Alternative Albums and the Top Rock Albums chart. Led by the singles “Overjoyed,” “Bad Blood,” “Flaws,” “Pompeii,” “Laura,” and “Things We Lost in the Fire,” the album also impacted the charts in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, and Ireland. Bastille dropped an extended version of Bad Blood in 2013, and it was entitled All This Bad Blood. The extended version featured the singles “Of the Night” and “Oblivion.” The “Of the Night” song is a rendition of the two hit singles “The Rhythm of the Night” (by Corona) and “Rhythm Is a Dancer” (by Snap!).

Glastonbury began on June 24th, and the 5-day festival is currently on day number three. The headliner for today is Florence and the Machine, and the other artists on the June 26th schedule include Mary J. Blige, Motörhead, Alabama Shakes, The Vaccines, Run the Jewels, Rudimental, Mark Ronson, Jungle, James Bay, Catfish & The Bottlemen, and more. Kanye West will headline the festival tomorrow, and The Who will headline the final day of Glastonbury.
