Are you a big fan of Kanye West? Are you also a sneaker fanatic? Well, here’s your chance to indulge in both. The Heat Check is selling an exclusive pair of West’s Nike Yeezy 1 sneakers. According to the website, these shoes were worn by the rapper when he performed at the 2008 Grammy Awards. The shoes were made exclusively for that performance, and this is reportedly the prototype sample sneaker of the Yeezy 1. When the Yeezy’s were released to the public, many alterations were made, which makes this prototype the only one of its kind. The Yeezy 1 black sneakers will come in a wooden box, and they cost a whopping $75,000.

The Nike Air Yeeezy sneakers were released in 2009, and the Air Yeezy II dropped in 2012 and 2014. The rapper and Nike ended their relationship after West felt the company didn’t fully respect his artistic vision. Since leaving the Nike brand, West has joined forces with Adidas. His Yeezy 750 Boost sneakers went on sale earlier this year, and his Yeezy Boost 350 shoes dropped this summer. The Boost 350s are low-top sneakers, and they are the first low-cut sneakers from the Yeezy sneaker line. The shoes are currently sold out on the Adidas website, but the sneakers can also be purchased through several other sneaker outlets. The Yeezy Boosts are not only popular with the general public, but several celebrities are also wearing the sneakers. Big Sean, DJ Khaled, Wale, Justin Bieber, and countless other celebrities have been photographed wearing the both types of the Yeezy Boost sneakers.

West’s name has also made headlines after his appearance at Drake’s OVO Fest last night. The rapper performed his hit songs such as “Black Skinhead,” “Stronger,” “Power,” “All Day,” and “Mercy.” Travis Scott joined West onstage and told the crowd that he broke out of jail in order to perform at OVO Fest. Scott was arrested on August 1st after he urged the crowd at Lollapalooza to rush the stage, and so the rapper was charged with disorderly conduct. Fans were highly disappointed that Scott’s set was cut short; according to reports, his set only lasted five minutes. Several videos have surfaced online which show some people from the large crowd jumping the barricades and joining Scott onstage.
