On Monday, legendary weed enthusiast and rap mogul Snoot Dogg announced he would be launching Merry Jane, a lifestyle media platform designed to bring pot smokers together and share information with each other. He is launching the company with partner and cofounder Ted Chung, and the two presented the idea at this year’s Disrupt SF 2015 conference.

The idea behind Merry Jane is to be a way for people who love pot, whether they are new to the game or seasoned smokers, to coexist in an unprecedented way. The site will contain all sorts of multimedia meant to share the best ways to enjoy marijuana; from recipes for edibles to forums for users to discuss strains, nothing will be off limits when it comes to Merry Jane’s goal of sharing information catered around the weed smoking community.

Though Merry Jane will not publicly launch until October, Snoop will be inviting 420 (yes, 420) users per day to test the Beta version. One installment of Merry Jane these users will be testing is called “Deflowered,” an interview series in which marijuana users share their innovative and various uses for the plant. In its first episode, two former Marines discuss marijuana as an alternative medicine.

According to Snoop, creating Merry Jane was a natural transition for him. “After watching where the cannabis industry is headed, I wanted to create a platform that will take this movement further. Merry Jane is a game-changing platform for pop culture,” Snoop said. To further support his game-changing goals, Snoop reportedly intends to recruit other pro-pot celebs to help him, including Seth Rogen and Miley Cyrus.

For people who have access to dispensaries, Merry Jane will also be a way to connect to these dispensaries and find strains personalized to their needs. Users will be able to parse strains by their flower types, flavors, and ability to help their specific symptoms. Dispensaries will eventually be able to create their own accounts with Merry Jane and present menus of available strains to other users.

Ultimately, Snoop’s goal is to decriminalize and remove the taboo from smoking weed. “There are so many people in the closet, and we are giving them an opportunity to come out of the closet and just admit they like to smoke. I’m a smoker, my name is Snoop Dogg, and I’m a stoner.” Well said, Snoop.
