Number Eight: She Donated the Money She Earned From Selling Her Daughter’s Photo to Charity. Jolie reportedly sold a photo of her daughter Shiloh to People magazine for $4.1 million. Jolie and husband Brad Pitt donated the money to charity. When their twins were born in 2008, Jolie and Pitt donated the $11 million (the most expensive baby photos of all time) to charity as well.

Number Seven: She Is Responsible for an Increase in Genetic Testing of Women for Breast Cancer. After Jolie opened up about her double mastectomy in a 2013 New York Times op-ed, there was a significant increase in genetic testing for the BRCA gene. It was called “The Angelina Effect.”

Number Six: She Did Not Expect to Live Past 40. According to husband Brad Pitt, Jolie did not expect to live very long because she watched her mother, aunt and grandmother get very sick and eventually die. Pitt said, “Her drive, her absolute value in herself, is defined by the impact she can have during her time here…” He also went on to say she didn’t expect to live past the age of 40.

Number Five: She Might Not Have a Publicist or Manager. According to several credible Hollywood reports, Jolie represents herself. However, Jolie has always been business savvy from a young age, so this should not come as much of a surprise.

Number Four: She Almost Became a Funeral Director. According to an interview Jolie did with 60 Minutes, she was so disappointed with the way one of her family member’s funerals was handled that she seriously considered becoming a funeral director.

Number Three: She Maybe Almost Dated Rosie O’Donnell. According to Rosie herself in an interview with Howard Stern, “…there was something there…She gave me her phone number. We talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that. There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through.” How about that?

Number Two: She Only Got Married Because of Her Kids. According to husband Brad Pitt, their six children were putting pressure on them to get married, which finally caused them to just go ahead and do it.
