We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably didn’t know about Panic! At the Disco, and now we’re back with part two. Check out eight more fascinating facts about the rock band that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you learn!

Number Eight: Brendon Has a Weird Habit. Rather than chew on his nails or tap a pan, Urie likes to roll paper. He has described it as a way to help him think, and he does it without even noticing.

Number Seven: Brendon Can Sing in Italian. But he can’t speak any Italian! Urie can sing part of an Italian song that he learned during a single vocal lesson from memory.

Number Six: Brendon Also Used to Wear JNCO Jeans. A self-described stoner and skater as a child, Urie also admitted that he used to wear JNCO jeans. He got away with wearing them for about three months before his mom made him stop.

Number Five: They Have Beach Rock Roots. Guitar player Kenny Harris used to be in a band called Tinkers Punishment. The band was reportedly beach rock, and Harris used to dress ridiculously to fit the music.

Number Four: They Have a Cool Pre-Show Ritual. According to Urie, before every show, the band has to high-five each other. Not only do they have to high-five each other, but they have to do so in a very specific manner. If they don’t high-five each other in exactly the way they want to, then they are sure that they will have a bad show.

Number Three: Brendon Ate Some Weird Candy. As a kid, Urie reportedly ate a lot of some candy called Crazy Hair. The candy oozes out from a Push Pop-like contraption in strands, similar to colored noodles. The candy was sour, and Urie has described the taste resembling “tamarind.”

Number Two: There’s a Reason Urie Sounds Like a Goat. Urie learned his signature vibrato when, as a kid, he kept trying to emulate Gwen Stefani. It was by practicing to sing similarly to her that he learned his singing style.

Number One: Brendon Almost Quit Band. When Urie was in the seventh grade, he was playing trumpet but kept getting frustrated. He would have quit, except his band teacher convinced him not to. It was then that he picked up the drums, and a star was born.
