It’s no secret that we’re all going to die at some point or another. However, we’ve got a list of 20 of the deadliest things that you’ll want to stay away from at all costs. Today we present part one of the world’s 20 deadliest things, and stay tuned for part two, coming soon!

Number Twenty: Deadliest Bullet. The deadliest bullet is a 9mm jacketed hollow point, which is designed to expand while inside the target’s body, causing maximum pain. The bullet is also designed this way to ensure it stays inside the target and does not enter anyone else.

Number Nineteen: Deadliest State for Crossing a Bridge. Avoid all bridges in Pennsylvania, because you just might die. One out of every nine bridges is defective in one way or another, and nearly one-quarter of these defective bridges are located in Pennsylvania.

Number Eighteen: Deadliest Airline. Over the course of the past 30 years, China Airlines has lost eight air crafts and has been associated with 755 deaths. That’s an average of 25 deaths every year.

Number Seventeen: Deadliest Road. Bolivia’s Yungas Road is the world’s deadliest road. Also known as the “road of death” (surprise), this road winds around a mountain and makes it incredibly easy for cars to drive off of it without even realizing it. About 200 people die on this road every year.

Number Sixteen: Deadliest Armpits. The slow loris has a strange way of defending itself. Instead of attacking like many animals do, the slow loris raises its arms and shoves its fingers into its armpits. Its armpits contain a poison that the loris rubs on its teeth before biting its predators.

Number Fifteen: Deadliest Dentist. Glennon Engleman is the deadliest dentist. He killed seven people over the course of three decades, and he did it all just for cash.

Number Thirteen: Deadliest Fishing Hole. Located in Russia, Lake Karachay is an intensely toxic dumping ground, and it has been that way since the 1950s. A fisherman who gets within the shoreline of this lake will be killed in approximately one hour from the toxins.

Number Twelve: Deadliest Place for a Vacation. San Pedro Sula in Honduras isĀ one of the world’s deadliest cities, so it’s also incredibly dangerous to vacation there. For every 100,000 citizens, there are 169 homicides. You’re more likely to die of murder than anything else while there.
