Whether you like it or not, you probably know a thing or two about Kanye West. The rapper and husband of Kim Kardashian has become ingrained in American culture over the course of the past several years. However, despite the fact that West is just about everywhere, there are still some things that many people don’t know about him. With that in mind, here we present our list of 15 things you probably didn’t know about Lionel Richie. Check out part one below, and stay tuned for part two, coming soon!

Number Fifteen: He Charged Kids to Watch Him Breakdance. According to West’s mom, he once charged Chinese children to watch him breakdance by making them give him sheep skewers.

Number Fourteen: His First Beat Was Very Adult. West made his very first beat in seventh grade, and the beat was for a sexually charged video game that involved ghosts resembling vaginas.

Number Thirteen: He Cried Over His Hair. When West was 13 years old, his dad would not let him get his hair cut often enough to maintain a high top fade. Because he couldn’t maintain the cut he wanted, he cried. Whether he has cried over his hair since then is yet to be determined.

Number Twelve: He Was Once “Deep House.” West earned the nickname of “Deep House” when he was younger because of all of the baggy clothing – especially pants and backpacks – he would wear.

Number Eleven: He Worked as a Telemarketer. After West dropped out of school, his mom began charging him $200 in rent every month. To make his rent, West had to work as a telemarketer. He also worked in real estate to pay his rent.

Number Ten: He sold His First Beat for Nearly $9,000. West sold his very first beat for $8,800! He sold it to a local Chicago rapper named Gravity. He reportedly used the money he earned to buy Polo clothes and a Jesus Piece.

Number Nine: He Was Arrested for Stealing Printers. It’s true! In 2000, West was arrested for stealing printers from OfficeMax. However, it ended up being a case of mistaken identity, although it would have been pretty hilarious if it were true.
