We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Leonardo DiCaprio, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the actor and star of The Revenant that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: He Was Part of The Pussy Posse. DiCaprio was part of a group that called themselves The Pussy Posse. Group members included Tobey Maguire, Lukas Haas, Harmony Korine, and David Blaine…among others. The Pussy Posse existed in the 1990s.

Number Seven: He Sent a Woman to Jail for Two Years. Well, not on purpose. At an after-party, one woman decided to smash a wine glass in DiCaprio’s face in 2005. The woman ended up going to jail for two years.

Number Six: He Was Outbid by Nicolas Cage. In fact, Cage outbid DiCaprio in 2007 for a dinosaur skull. Cage ended up paying $276,000 for the skull.

Number Five: He Made a Movie That Was Never Released. DiCaprio and fellow Pussy Posse member Tobey Maguire made a movie together called Don’s Plum. DiCaprio found the film so reprehensible that he took legal action so it could never be released in theaters or on DVD in the United States.

Number Four: He Was Almost Spider-Man. In fact, James Cameron wrote a script for Spider-Man and had DiCaprio in mind to play the namesake role. However, we all know how that one panned out.

Number Three: He Never Really Sketched Rose. In the iconic Titanic scene where DiCaprio’s character sketches Kate Winslet’s character in the nude, the hands seen sketching Rose’s body are not actually DiCaprio’s – they’re James Cameron’s.

Number Two: He Survived a Shark Attack. DiCaprio became trapped in a diving cage in 2006 and was subsequently attacked by a shark. He was in Cape Town, South Africa while on a break from filming Blood Diamond when it happened. He said that the shark got into the cage and chomped a few times, but DiCaprio was able to avoid it.

Number One: He Will Never Win an Oscar. Just kidding, Leo! Though he has never won an Oscar, rumors are swirling that DiCaprio will likely receive an Oscar for his work in his latest film, The Revenant.
