Michael Kors is one of the most recognizable brands (and people) in the world. However, despite the fact that the brand and the man behind it have spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. Number Fifteen: Michael Kors Starred in a Lucky Charms Commercial

He was just four years old when he was in the cereal commercial. When he was young, his dream job was to be an actor.

Number Fourteen: He Designed His Mother’s Wedding Dress

Well, sort of. Kors redesigned her dress when he was just five years old. She had the dress ready for her second wedding, but Kors recognized that it featured too many extra decorative parts. He stripped it of its excessive parts and advised his mother on how to do her hair and makeup on her wedding day.

Number Thirteen: He Really Loves Women

Kors might not be sexually interested in women, but as objects of beauty, he adores them. Kors has achieved major success because of his love for women, and he says that the best compliment a woman can give him is when she says she loves how she feels in his clothes.

Number Twelve: He Was Bullied

Kors might be adored now, but that wasn’t always the case. As a young boy, Kors was incessantly bullied.

Number Eleven: He Believes in Designing for Every Size

It’s not yet normal for every high-end designer to design clothes for plus-size women, but Kors has an entire line devoted to plus-size clothing. Kors believes that if a designer is truly talented, he or she should design for every body shape.

Number Ten: He Stays True to Himself to Stay Successful

Kors struggled in the 1990s, despite it being a boon in the fashion world. He learned from his struggles that he has to be true to himself and not follow the fads and his customer base will stay strong.
