Pornhub is one of the most popular websites for people to watch porn in the world. However, despite the fact that the website has spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. Number Fifteen: Pornhub Is the Internet’s Biggest Porn Site

Pornhub competes with many other porn sites, but it’s by far the largest host of pornographic videos on the internet. Even more amazing on top of that is the fact that it’s only been around since 2007!

Number Fourteen: It Launched Pornhub Select in 2013

The company launched an exclusive program for its viewers in 2013 that it called “Pornhub Select.” Users of the new service can look at exclusively HD videos and are exposed to fewer advertisements than the site’s free users

Number Thirteen: Users Can Curate a Porn Playlist With PornIQ

The company created something called PornIQ that will create individualized playlists highly specialized to the user. The playlist is created based on what the user normally watches, when he or she visits the site, where he or she is located, and how much time he or she spends watching porn videos.

Number Twelve: It Had to Stop People From Uploading Sports Videos

In 2014, people began uploading videos of Brazil defeating Germany at the FIFA World Cup with sexually charged titles. The company had to tell its users to stop in order to slow down the deluge of soccer videos users were uploading.

Number Eleven: It’s Making a Film

It’s true! The idea for the film was announced in mid-2015, and it will be called Sexplorations. The company plans to shoot the film in 2016 and will star pornstars Eva Lovia and Johnny Sins.

Number Ten: It Got Into a Legal Battle in 2010

Pornhub’s owners, Mansef Inc. and Interhub, were sued in 2010 over copyright issues with 95 of their videos, some of which were streaming on Pornhub. Though the suit was eventually settled, it’s unclear what the terms of the settlement were.

Number Nine: CBS Refused to Air Its Super Bowl Commercial
