We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Pornhub, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the popular porn website that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: It’s Been Blocked in Russia

A controversy occurred in 2014 when the website was blocked in Russia. The government decided to block the site because a particular actress in a video appeared to be too young, which prompted viewers to question if she was actually 18.

Number Seven: Its Advertisements Might Contain Malware

One researcher found that some advertisements on Pornhub and XHamster could contain malware. Be careful where you click, people!

Number Six: It’s Responsible for the Boob Bus

The “boob bus” was a bus that Pornhub introduced in 2012 as a way to raise awareness about breast cancer. The bus traveled to five different places in New York City and helped out by providing free breast exams.

Number Five: Pornhub Tried to Donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation

It’s true! In 2012, the website was involved in a campaign that offered to donate a penny to the famous foundation for every 30 videos watched in either their “big tit” or “small tit” category. However, the foundation rejected their offer, so they ended up donating to other charitable breast cancer foundations.

Number Four: It Launched an Environmental Campaign

Who knew how charitable porn could be? Pornhub launched their “Pornhub Gives America Wood” campaign in 2014 in honor of Arbor Day. Just like with their “Save the Boobs” campaign, the company offered to plant a tree for every 100 videos that were watched in the website’s “big dick” category. The company was able to plant 15,473 trees as a result.

Number Three: It Made a Wristband for Masturbating Men

The company developed an electric energy generator that uses motion to charge electronic devices. The generator comes in the form of a wristband and is charged via movement. It was designed for men so that they can charge their phone while they jerk off.

Number Two: It Worked on a Film With Joseph Gordon-Levitt

No, not that kind of film! You may have seen Gordon-Levitt’s film Don Jon, which features several Pornhub videos. Gordon-Levitt worked with the company to select the perfect videos for the film.

Number One: Its Headquarters Aren’t in a Sexy Place

In fact, Pornhub’s headquarters are in Canada – a decidedly unsexy place for many people. We hope you enjoyed our list of 15 things you didn’t know about Pornhub!
