We already brought you part one of the interesting facts about singer Blake Shelton. We haven’t quite finished telling you everything yet, though, so here are a few more.
Number Eight: His Ink Is Not High Quality
Shelton will probably not be the first to show off what he calls “the crappiest tattoo in the world.” What he intended to look like deer tracks to show off his hobby of hunting looks like lady bugs to some which means he gets some interesting questions about it.
Number Seven: He Does Not Regret His 90s Mullet
Unlike fellow country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Shelton still does not mind his mullet from the early days of his career. Even when people asked him to cut it at the time, Shelton refused for quite some time.
Number Six: He Stopped A Crime
While Shelton was at his uncle’s house in 2007, the singer caught an intruder and held him until police came. The man was later charged with first-degree burglary and public intoxication.
Number Five: Shelton Does Not Live In Nashville
Unlike many of his fellow country singers, Shelton does not live in Nashvegas. He currently lives in Tishomingo, Okla. when not filming The Voice.
Number Four: Blake Shelton Had ‘It’ From The Get-Go
For some singers, it can take awhile for their music to catch on. Shelton somehow lucked out and his first single “Austin” hit number one and stayed there for five weeks. As of May 2015, he had 19 number one singles, and he also holds the record for most consecutive number one singles.
Number Three: Miranda Lambert Introduced Him To The Song ‘Home’
One of Shelton’s hits is a cover of Michael Buble’s song “Home.” Shelton probably never would have heard it if ex-wife Miranda Lambert had not put it on his iPod though.
Number Two: Minty Gum Does Not Do It For Shelton
If you are going to chew gum, most people would go for the mint flavored kind. Not Shelton though. Give him some that is orange flavored and he will be happy.
Number One: You Will Never Guess What Show He Likes
With such a manly exterior, it would make sense that Shelton likes watching sports or something similar on television. While he does enjoy those most of the time, he also likes The Golden Girls, who knew? Thanks so much for reading!
