Tim McGraw is one of the most popular and highly regarded country musicians of his generation. However, despite the fact that he has spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. Number Fifteen: He Won’t Let His Daughters Use Twitter

McGraw is incredibly strict with the way his family uses social media. In fact, none of his daughters has a Twitter account and he has a special team to operate his own social media presence.

Number Fourteen: Tim McGraw Is a Hunter

Specifically, he has been known to hunt quail. Though McGraw doesn’t have many days off, on the few that he does have he sometimes enjoys the outdoors.

Number Thirteen: He Sleeps Naked

It’s true! McGraw has said that he tried to sleep with pajamas but found it too uncomfortable.

Number Twelve: He Has a Tattoo of a Leprechaun Cowboy

McGraw has five tattoos, but his first one has to be the most interesting. He got his first tattoo when he was drunk and 22. The tattoo is of a leprechaun with a cowboy hat on its thigh.

Number Eleven: His Dad Was a Trucker

McGraw might be worth millions today, but he comes from humble roots. In fact, his dad was just a truck driver. However, of note is that the “dad” we mention here isn’t McGraw’s biological father, but Horace Smith – the man he really considers his dad.

Number Ten: If He Wasn’t a Country Music Star, He Might Be a Lawyer

It’s tough to picture McGraw in a suit in a courtroom, but he was actually studying to be a lawyer before he hit it big. McGraw studied pre-law at Northeast Louisiana University.

Number Nine: He’s Smarter Than You Think
