Number Fifteen: She Was Rich Before She Started Acting

Dreyfus was born to a very wealthy family. Her great-great-grandfather founded the Louis Dreyfus Group, which dominates the agriculture trade worldwide. Number Fourteen: Clinton Loves Her in ‘Veep’

Veep has been named the most realistic portray of American politics by D.C. congressmen! Ex-President Bill Clinton is a fan of the show and, particularly, of Julia’s character, Selina Meyer. Dreyfus has quoted him saying: “You know what’s great about your part [as VP] is that there are no term limits.”

Number Thirteen: Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Female Utopia

Dreyfus would love the politics landscape to look a little more like Veep. She said that “if women ran the world, it would be a better place.”

Number Eleven: She Enraged Israeli Feminists

A YES DBS ad featuring Julia Louis-Dreyfus was deemed offensive and got pulled from Israeli television. In the ad, Dreyfus approaches a co-worker and wrongfully congratulates her on being pregnant. Julia is an environmentalist. She worries about global warming and other environmental issues—particularly, California’s water and air quality.
