Now we bring you part two, with eight more facts about the twin actresses turned fashion designers, who won the world over as Michelle Tanner on Full House and proceeded to build a fashion and media empire, making them the youngest billionaires ever.

Number Eight: Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen Share a Star on the Walk of Fame

The Olsen twins were recognized for their contributions to the television world with their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004. They were the first twins to receive the honor and share a star.

Number Seven: They Wrote a Book

Released in 2008, Influence features interviews between Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and some of their fashion icon inspirations. Interviewees in the book include Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Von Furstenberg, Christian Louboutin and many others.

Number Six: They Were Credited as One Person on ‘Full House’

For most of Full House’s eight-season run, the producers didn’t want the audience to know that they were using twins for the role of Michelle Tanner. This is why the credits read “Mary Kate Ashley Olsen” from seasons two through seven. They are credited as two separate people in seasons one and eight.

Number Five: Mary Kate Was Nominated for an Emmy

In 2001, the Olsen twins were starring in the show So Little Time as Riley (Mary Kate) and Chloe (Ashley) Carlsson. The show earned a Daytime Emmy nod for Mary Kate, but sadly, not Ashley.

Number Four: Ashley was Named to ‘Maxim’s’ Hot 100 List, Twice

In both 2007 and 2008, Ashley landed on Maxim Magazine’s Hot 100 at number 37 and 47, respectively. His is an honor Mary Kate did not receive.

Number Three: Not That They Didn’t Both Get Recognition for Their Looks

Ashley may have been on Maxim’s radar alone, but the two of them were pretty inseparable on every other list. They were both named number three in VH1’s “100 Greatest Kid Stars,” number five in E’s “50 Cutest Child Stars All Grown Up” and number five on Forbes’ “20 Top-Earning Young Superstars of 2007.” The twins were also named the second hottest teen females of 2003 and number 32 on FHM’s 2005 list of the “100 Sexiest Women in the World.”

Number Two: They Have Not Been Without Their Health Issues

Both Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have had their health issues over the years. In 2004, Mary Kate was in treatment for anorexia and in 2007 was hospitalized with a kidney infection. Ashley was diagnosed in 2015 with late-stage Lyme Disease, which has affected her work in the last few months.

Number One: They Had Their Prom on ‘Saturday Night Live’

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen missed their high school prom to become two of the youngest hosts in Saturday Night Live history. During their monologue, the cast made it up to them by throwing them a prom. Jimmy Fallon and Will Forte were their dates.
