Chris Brown stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to discuss everything from his postponed Between The Sheets Tour, his on-going feud with Drake, and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The singer took a lot of criticism for postponing his Between The Sheets Tour, which also features Trey Songz and Tyga. A judge refused to sign-off on the tour because Brown still had 100 hours of community service left to complete. Most fans couldn’t understand why the singer didn’t complete his community service hours before scheduling his tour dates. During his interview on The Breakfast Club, Brown said that he was initially told that he could go on tour in January, and then complete his community service hours after the tour.
Brown’s good friend Tyga was recently on the radio show to discuss his feud with Drake. During his interview, the rapper said he didn’t like Drake on a personal level, but Brown didn’t have a lot to say regarding the Canadian rapper. The R&B singer and Drake’s controversy goes well beyond music, after the rapper supposedly dated Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna. When he was asked if he was friends with Drake, Brown simply answered, “I’m cool.” Brown also said there’s no point in him discussing Drake, because there is not a monetary gain. “That dude don’t make me no check. I don’t get no money by talking about him,” the R&B singer explained. Brown did acknowledge that he was recently in the recording studio with Drake, but the two did not collaborate on any music. “I didn’t make no record with him. He was just in the studio. He was a fan,” the R&B singer told the listeners.
Chris Brown said that jealously amongst artists makes it really hard to make friends in the music business, especially when it comes to dating women who are also in the industry. He stated that his girlfriend Karrueche Tran couldn’t date any other artist who is more famous than him, and he feels Rihanna is in the same situation. “With old girl [Rihanna], who else she gonna go to? Who else in this game she gonna go to? Some corny singing rapper?,” Brown asked. The R&B singer was also at the radio station to promote his collaborative album with Tyga entitled Fan of a Fan: The Album, which will be released in retail stores and on iTunes tomorrow. The two artists have dropped two singles from the project including “Ayo” and “Bitches N Marijuana” featuring Schoolboy Q. Chris Brown, Tyga, and Trey Songz are currently on their Between The Sheets Tour.
