Chuck Norris: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 2)

We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Chuck Norris, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the actor and martial artist that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: He Had His Own Clothing Line. Specifically, Norris had his own line of jeans. The jeans were titled “Action Jeans” and were designed for extreme mobility – for when you have to kick people in the face, of course.

Number Seven: He Is an NYT Best Selling Author. There truly isn’t anything Norris can’t do. Norris is a New York Times Best-Selling Author and has written several books, including Against All Odds, Black Belt Patriotism: How to Reawaken America, and two more fictional pieces.

Number Six: He Was Not Always an Athlete. In fact, even in high school, Norris did not partake in sports. This just goes to show that late bloomers can be just as talented as young prodigies.

Number Five: He Is an Honorary Marine. We already mentioned that Norris was in the Air Force, but did you know he is also an honorary Marine? He was presented with the honor in 2007, and he has since become a bit of a celebrity spokesperson for the military.

Number Four: He Is Not a Big Fan of Obama. Norris is a noted Republican with strong Christian values. Because of this, he did not support Obama and urged people not to vote for him. However, clearly his influence can only go so far.

Number Three: He Sued a Student. Ian Spector was a college student when he published a book about Norris with Penguin Group Inc. in 2007. Norris did not find the book filled with satirical facts about himself amusing, and so he sued Spector. However, he eventually dropped the suit.

Number Two: His Name Is Not Chuck Norris. In fact, Norris was born Carlos Ray Norris! Either works for us.

Number One: His Favorite Fact About Himself… Norris’ favorite satirical fact about him is the one that goes like this: “They wanted to put Chuck Norris’ face on Mount Rushmore, but the granite wasn’t hard enough for his beard.” We can respect that.
