Florence + the Machine Announce Summer and Fall Tour with St. Vincent, Lizzo and More

Florence and the Machine have just announced a hot North American tour with some very special guests. The tour will start the summer and then go all the way through fall, potentially with more dates to come. Joining Florence and the Machine on tour are St. Vincent, Lizzo, Kamasi Washington, Grizzly Bear, Perfume Genius, Beth Ditto, Billie Eilish and Wet. See below for which band will open for Florence and the Machine on specific dates.

Florence and the Machine kicks off the tour at Osheaga in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on August 5. The group will play a string of shows in Canada and on the West Coast of the U.S.A., and will also play in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The tour wraps in Minneapolis on October 20, at the Target Center. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, June 1.

Florence and the Machine is fresh off opening for the Rolling Stones in London over the weekend. Lead singer Florence Welch did a well-received duet with Mick Jagger on “Wild Horses” during the band’s concert at London Stadium on Friday night. The two traded barbs and broadsides during a hot cover of the Sticky Fingers hit, going back and forth during verses and the refrain. The two also looked deeply into each other’s eyes and held hands, pleasing fans.

Florence and the Machine’s their fourth studio album, High as Hope, will be released on June 29th via the band’s label, Republic. In May, the band released the LP’s first single, “Hunger,” which debuted during a live performance on the season finale of The Voice. Fans also saw the band performing it for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
