Ex-president of the United States George W. Bush has been in the media for a variety of reasons. He has received a lot of criticism and has been widely misunderstood by many people. Number Fifteen: He Is One of Four Presidents to Win an Election Despite Having Received Fewer Votes Than the Opponent. Along with John Quincy Adams, Rutherford B. Hayes, and Benjamin Harrison, Bush got less votes than Gore in the 2000 presidential election. Bush won because he got more votes in the electoral college.

Number Fourteen: He Was Arrested. You might know that Bush was arrested, but did you know he was arrested twice? The first time he was arrested was after a football game in 1967 when he led a rowdy crowd in a post-game celebration, and the second time was for stealing a giant Christmas wreath when he was drunk.

Number Thirteen: He Was a Cheerleader in High School. Bush was a cheerleader in both high school and college. He even became head cheerleader at his all-male boarding school in Andover, Massachusetts.

Number Twelve: When His Administration Took Over, the “W” Disappeared From Keyboards. When Bush took over for Clinton in the White House, the “w” on all of the keyboards mysteriously disappeared. It was rumored that this was a move to sabotage him on the Clinton administration’s end.

Number Eleven: He Did Not Use a Veto in His First Term. Bush was the first president in over 150 years who did not use a veto throughout his first term. However, in his second term, he used the Presidential veto an impressive 12 times.

Number Ten: He Treasures a Photo of Himself With ZZ Top. Bush is known to be a fan of Houston-based rockers ZZ Top, and when he got his photo with them, he held on to it like a child. He has said that it is one of his most treasured possessions.

Number Nine: His Sister Died of Leukemia. When Bush was only seven years old, his sister passed away from leukemia. She was just three years old at the time.
