The numbers are in for Justin Timberlake‘s 20/20 Experience Tour. Timberlake’s ticket sales from the 20/20 Experience totaled $231.7 million after a 14-month tour that included 128 performances. It was reportedly attended by 1.9 million fans a night. Timberlake’s revenue from December 13th through January 2nd, earned him the Number 1 ranking in the weekly Hot Tours chart. The pop singer earned $11,911,192 in revenue during that time. The 20/20 Experience was a worldwide tour with performances that reached five continents. The tour began on November 6, 2013 in New York City. Timberlake performed in fifty-four venues in the US and Canada, sixteen countries in Europe, two Middle Eastern cities, Australia, New Zealand, and made a ton of appearances at music festivals overseas. Timberlake was the highest-grossing solo touring artist of 2014 with the 20/20 Experience. He ranked at Number 2 on Billboard’s list of the top twenty-five tours.
Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience album was released on March 15, 2013; it was the first installment of the two-piece project. Six months later, the second and third installments, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 and The 20/20 Experience – The Complete Experience were released. The first album, The 20/20 Experience, sold 968,000 in its first week and debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. The effort is Timberlake’s best-selling solo album debut to date. Three singles were released from the project including “Suit & Tie“ ( featuring Jay-Z), “Mirrors,” and “Tunnel Vision.” The second album, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, sold 350,000 copies in its first week. It was certified platinum last year in June. Timberlake also released three singles from this project too including “Take Back The Night,” “TKO,” and “Not a Bad Thing.” All three singles charted on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The last album, The 20/20 Experience – The Complete Experience, was a compilation album released on the same day as the 2 of 2 effort. This album featured all the songs from The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2. The only songs that were not included on the Complete Experience were “Dress On,” “Body,” “Blindness,” and “Electric Lady.” The 20/20 Experience -The Complete Experience was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Pop Vocal Album category.
