Katy Perry‘s Teenage Dream has been on the Billboard 200 Albums chart for 200 weeks. The album is currently Number 90 on the music chart. Teenage Dream was dropped five years ago, and it entered the Billboard 200 at Number 1. Teenage Dream is approaching three million copies sold worldwide. Five songs from the album reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 including “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F),” “Teenage Dream,” “E.T.,” “Firework,” and “California Gurls.” The pop singer is the first female artist to have five records reach Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Six songs were released from the album, and two of those songs, “California Gurls” and “Firework,” were performed by Perry at her record-breaking Super Bowl halftime show performance this year. Over 118.5 million viewers watched the pop singer that night, and the songs all received an increase in downloads and music streams. Only twenty-five albums have spent 200 or more weeks on the Billboard 200. Some of those projects include Nirvana’s Nevermind, Taylor Swift’s Fearless, and Bruno Mars’ Doo-Wops & Hooligans.

Katy Perry is currently on her Prismatic World Tour. The tour began last year, and it will wrap on May 14th in Thailand. This month, Perry will travel to Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The following month, the pop singer will perform in Japan, China, Indonesia, and Macau. Pop singer Charli XCX will join Perry on tour this month, before Charli XCX embarks on her own tour in the US and abroad. The Prismatic World Tour has already grossed $153 million dollars in revenue, and it was ranked the fourth best-selling tour of 2014.

The pop singer’s Teenage Dream tour entitled California Dreams embarked on 127 dates in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. The tour earned over sixty million dollars when it concluded in 2012. The California Dreams tour was well-received by fans and critics for its stage production, performances, and costume designs. Perry won numerous awards for the tour including the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Tour Headliner, the Teen Choice Award for Best Tour, and the award for Best Live Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
