It also went to the top of the charts in Australia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland, and the UK. The number one album has sold over seven million copies, and it was led by the singles “Video Games,” “Born to Die,” “Blue Jeans,” “Summertime,” “National Anthem,” and “Dark Paradise.”

The project featured production by Greg Kurstin (Sia), Paul Epworth (Adele), and Rick Nowels (Madonna). Five singles were released from the album including “West Coast,” “Shades of Cool,” “Ultraviolence,” “Brooklyn Baby,” and “Black Beauty.” The lead single “West Coast” peaked at Number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it reached Number 26 on the US Rock Airplay chart.
