Glee will air its final episode on March 20th, after six seasons on the Fox network. The show has just wrapped up production, and Lea Michele gave the fans something to look forward to on the last few episodes. The actress posted a photo of herself with former Glee star Jonathan Groff. After Michele posted the photo, fans immediately wondered if Groff was going to return to the show. E! News confirmed Groff (Jesse St. James character) would make a guest appearance on the series finale. The actor hasn’t made an appearance on Glee since the third season. A day before the last day of production, Michele bid farewell to the show that made her a household name, and she thanked all of the fans who made Glee a success. “I can’t believe tomorrow is our last day at Glee. It is going to be such an emotional day. But I’m so grateful though to have had this incredibly amazing experience,” the actress tweeted. Michele also wrote, “Thank you so much to all of our amazing Gleeks [Glee fans] who supported us so much! I love you guys.”

Fans of Michele won’t have to wait too long before they see her on television again. The actress will play one of the starring roles on Fox’s new series Scream Queens, which will premiere in the fall. The show will be produced by Glee’s creator, Ryan Murphy, and two of Glee’s producers, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. The show also stars Jaime Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Joe Manganiello, and more. Pop singers Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas are a few of the stars who will make a guest appearance on the show as well. The trailer for Scream Queens recently premiered on YouTube a few days ago. Lea Michele released her debut album Louder last year. The album reached the Number 4 position on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, and the lead single “Cannonball” sold 51,000 copies in its first week. The song would eventually peak at Number 18 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart, and it also charted in Belgium, Canada, Ireland, and Spain. Michele is expected to release her sophomore project some time this year, or at the top of 2016.
