Number Eight: She Has a Heart Condition. Miley has tachycardia, which basically means her heart beats at a faster rate than it should. In her autobiography, she mentioned that the condition doesn’t hurt her, but she is bothered by it.
Number Seven: Yes, She Can Actually Sing. Despite the fact that Miley has come under a lot of fire about not being able to sing, she has done several performances that prove her doubters wrong. Her cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” is particularly beautiful.
Number Six: She Has a 5-Foot Bong That Works. In an interview she did with Esquire, she told the interviewer that the five-foot bong she keeps at home, which is embellished, actually works. She didn’t mention how often she uses it, though.
Number Five: She Doesn’t Really Care About Money. Miley would much rather be happy than pursue fame. She thinks that pursuing fame is just part of a cycle to make more money, and she wants to focus on being happy. She also mentioned that she can’t imagine famous people wanting more money, considering she doesn’t think they could spend it all in one lifetime.
Number Four: She’s Not Afraid of Hackers. Though many celebrities toil over hiding the skeletons in their closet, Miley is very open about hers. She said that she doesn’t care if someone finds nude photos in her email, and she even said that she’d just upload them herself.
Number Three: Her Gender Is Fluid. Miley has gotten a lot of flack for her sexuality, but both her gender and sexuality are fluid. She stands strong by these statements despite the immense pressure she gets from the press.
Number Two: She’s Aware of Industry Double Standards. Miley acknowledges that even though Kendrick Lamar is “cool” for singing about LSD, she gets called a “druggie whore” for singing about any partaking in drugs. She is doing her best to call out sexism when she sees it.
Number One: She Has a Pig. Her pet pig is aptly named “Pig.” She also has four dogs and two cats.
